The Morning Dip with Dominic Power

The Morning Dip is the first true breakfast show on The Source and is ambitious to become a daily routine for Source listeners. At the moment it can be heard on Fridays between 08.00 and 09.00am. The programme aims to bring a fast-moving magazine style to the radio with news and comment, live and recorded interviews, poetry and regular items such as ‘The Water Feature’. Penryn College media students are going to provide a weekly sports report on the College’s fixtures. The College is a specialist sports school and is enjoying successes in many disciplines. It is possible also that the Falmouth Packet will be providing the news bulletins, subject to copyright.
The Morning Dip is co-presented by Dominic Power and Simon Caro and also produced by Simon, Dominic and Matthew. However, we need many more presenters, producers and reporters to keep the show live and lively, especially if it is to realise the ambition of increasing the number of shows through the week.
