What happens when you take twenty-four wannabe writers and give them a week to write and produce a fifteen minute radio comedy sketch show?
Find out this afternoon when the results are broadcast live on Cornwall’s Community Radio Station Source FM and across the world on the internet.
The twenty four aspiring writers are finding their feet on the MA in Professional Writing at University College Falmouth. They’ve been guided by radio and TV scriptwriter Paul Dodgson over the five days of preparation, but all the writing and selection of material has been down to them.
The action takes place in the fictional supermarket Diddle – a big supermarket in a small town - where a hapless team of supermarket operatives star in a series of witty, satirical and off-the-shelf sketches.
Will the team finish in time and will it be funny?
Listen to The Source FM 96.1 and online www.thesourcefm.co.uk at 3pm TODAY to find out – and post your comments on the group's Facebook page to let them know what you think – good or bad! They’ll be watching.
If you can't tune in live, the show will also be recorded and there’ll be more details about how to listen on the facebook page.
