About me

Carrick Roads is a community centred project based in Falmouth and Penryn. The aim is to create a radio soap opera that involves people from the general public in writing, acting and recording, regardless of skill level or previous work. If you're interested, you can be part of the process.
We want talented and passionate writers and actors who may otherwise be overlooked, who want to share their experiences and get their voices heard across Cornwall. Workshops will take place in Father John's Hall in Penryn 7pm - 9pm, and are open to all.
The workshops will be delivered with the help of novelist and journalist Patricia Finney, writer, poet and actor Dominic Power, and technical instructor and sound engineer Jerry Padfield.
We are looking for writers, voice actors, people to help with the technical side, and artists for posters.
