About me

At the age of about 10 I got into the sounds of the day; The Jam, Specials, XTC, The Beat and all those other Mod, New Wave and Ska bands of the time. As Top Of The Pops sailed into the 80’s, I stopped watching. Instead I got more into the Mod styles and sounds. Parkas, Fred Perrys and button down shirts were my uniform at Falmouth School and the wonderful world of 60’s music my soundtrack.
I moved to London at 17 and returned at 30. In the time in between I had acquired a lot more records and learnt a lot more about music. My mind opened up to all manner of different styles and genres, but always with the overriding Mod values at the core of my taste.
I did loads of club Dj work, some of it high profile, most of it very much not! Never using a microphone and certainly never on radio!!!!!
Since The Source started people have said I ought to talk to them about doing a show, finally, here I am.

Musically the show will cover anything from Cotton Field Blues to Jazz, Gospel, Mod, Rhythm and Blues, Garage Punk... 4
