Personal information

About me

I'm not really a presenter but I have been know to present shows on The Source and I certainly do more than my fair share of continuity announcing...

I'm the manager - not a word that I really like very much, 'Gardener of the Airwaves' suits me better. My primary role is to encourage radio programmes to develop and grow for the pleasure and well being of the whole community.

I'm here to maintain and protect The Source's fine crop of annual shows, develop a showy new bed of perennials for the summer and put in new beds for veg and medicinal herbs to help us work towards self sufficiency in a couple of years...!

I'm more than happy to speak to anyone who is interested in contributing to The Source, whether it's ideas or programmes you'd like to create, or topics you think we should be covering, give me a call on 01326 254449

Live @ 5ive The Live @ 5ive feature is a dream come true on The Source. As you know we are a community station that aims to give a voice to all members of the community that wishes to be involved. We have been working with young people and schools across the catchment area to develop the Live @ 5ive programme and thanks to the efforts of many young people, teachers and parents we have a regular team of contributors. Live @ 5ive goes to air every Monday at 5 o'clock, with a rotating team of presenters. We...
Talk the Week This is a show that brings people into the studio to talk about their activities and their aspirations. It gives us the chance also to talk about what’s going on in Falmouth, Cornwall, the U.K. and the wider world. We’re interested in news in all its aspects, in opinion and in debate.

Collective Source The Collective Source Friday 6-7.30pm I like to think of the show as a multi-cultural love fest. I think that the tunes are great (naturally), and are an eclectic mix of jazz, reggae, soul, funk, and rare grooves. We aim to spread news of any issues that may inform the Black and Minority Ethnic communities in Cornwall. There are plans to include interviews, health news, and more. I hope that the show will become more interactive for the whole community.  So feel free to contact us;... 2
