Bio: Hi! My name’s Leanne Smith. Originally from West Midlands, I moved down to Cornwall when I was sixteen, after I had finished Secondary School. I am currently a second year Broadcasting Student at Falmouth University. My interest in the media began when I was around fourteen, when I helped out as an actress for Student Project at Birmingham City University. This is when my interest changed from acting/dance which I had been doing since I was seven. Since living in Cornwall I have pursued my interest in media by joining Falmouth University and starting community radio. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, socializing with friends and family and taking part in the local scene.

From: Cannock, Staffordshire

Bio: Hey! I’m Lee Farnell. I come from Cannock in Staffordshire but I am living in Falmouth to attend university, where I am studying Broadcasting. I have a found interest in Radio, due to my love for music and having a good chinwag. I really love live music and am no stranger to attending concerts of all sorts. From bands like “Lostprophets” and “30 Seconds To Mars” to solo artists like “Pink” and “Avril Lavigne”. I have a wide taste in music ranging from my favourite modern bands like “Evanescence” and “Paramore” to older music such as “Fleetwood Mac”. My interest in music stemmed from learning to play Saxophone when I was nine, leading to teaching myself Piano and Guitar at sixteen. In my spare time, I am usually found playing my piano, playing video games or reading a good book.

Bio: Hello! My name is Megan Hobba. I am born and bred and St Austell, Cornwall and I am proud of being Cornish. I am currently studying Broadcasting at Falmouth University and enjoy it very much. My interest in media stemmed from GCSE’s when I took it on as an option. I really enjoy the social theory behind the media and enjoy coming up with new ideas when practical work is involved. My music tastes range from the likes of “Linkin Park” to “Alanis Morrisette”. I enjoy music very much and hope to go to more gigs and concerts in the future. In my spare time I enjoy sitting watching shows like Family Guy, hanging around with friends and socializing. I also have a guilty addiction to video game ‘The Sims.’
