Ian Beaumont Live And Direct

Ian BeaumontEvery Monday afternoon on The Source FM, Ian Beaumont hosts a 2 hour show full of music, entertainment, information, and sometimes a guest or two.

Musically, you can expect to hear almost anything on the show, from classical to contermporary, from the 1950s until today, from the well known to the unknown, from world renowned celebrities to local up and coming artists. We can play almost anything on the show.

We can also talk about almost anything too.  From global affairs and the world of politics, to the silliest news items of the week, and all points in between.  We've even brought you breaking news on the show before.

We've already had some great guests come in on the show, talking about everything from religious affairs to mental health.  No subject matter is off-limits.

I do all this on the show, with a smile.  I also update the weather and travel, and look at what's happening in the Falmouth and Penryn area, as well as my own jovial wit and banter.

The show airs every Monday between 4pm and 6pm on The Source FM, on 96.1 FM across Falmouth and Penryn, and online via www.thesourcefm.co.uk/listen.  The Source FM can also be heard via the UK RadioPlayer, via the iTunes Radio Directory, and via the TuneIn and UK RadioPlayer apps on your mobile.  There is also a Source FM app available for Android phones.

And if you miss the live show, you can now catch up with The Source FM Listen Again service.

And even when the show isn't on the air, you can interact with the show as well.  You can like our Facebook page, or add our Google Plus page to your circles.  You can also tweet the show too and follow us for programme updates and much more besides.

So join me, Ian Beaumont Live & Direct, every Monday, 4pm to 6pm on The Source FM.

Hi Ian - I'm the event manager for Falmouth Race for Life and hoping you might be able to help us out! The event is in under 2 weeks and we currently have 6 volunteers signed up to help marshal the event, and we need around 25. Needless to say we're quite a way off at the moment, and I was wondering if you might be able to help us recruit some extra pairs of hands? At this stage just every single extra person will make all the difference.

Volunteers don't need any prior experience - just to be at Gylly Beach at 9.30am on Sunday 14th May and would be all finished by 12.30pm.

I would be eternally grateful for any help you can offer, volunteering at Race for Life I can promise is a hugely rewarding experience.

Anyone who would like to volunteer can contact me at ruth.chamings@cancer.org.uk or 07918650610.

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Ruth

Managed to listen in at last.  Eclectic is definitely a good description of the music you play.  My colleague and I have enjoyed having you on in the background today.  It may become a regular slot for us!

Hi Mr. Beaumont! Thank you for starting the show with my biggest hit! That Mr Paul Carrack isn't bad either!
