'Idle Blabbering' is an hour long comedy show, with music, interviews, drama, phone-ins, sketches, and whatever else we think listeners will put up with on Source FM. We've called the show 'Idle Blabbering' because its a perfect description. 'Massage Massacre' is a 30 minute comedy musical play, which is how this all started. It was originally written as a film, that had its soundtrack created as its first part. Since the soundtrack was completed, it became clear that 'Massage Massacre' would make a a great radio play, so we adapted it. We gradually added bits and pieces to the 30 minute spectacle - and as the three of us chatted, played our sketches and skits, and let our selection of tunes sweep across the potential airwaves of Source FM, we realised we had an hour long show. This is just the beginning. As the first episode of Idle Blabbering, we have yet to see just how popular it will be amongst the masses. Predictably, it will have mass appeal, and become the prevailing fashionable thing to take heed of. We like to be terribly silly, and its hard to avoid being silly once you start. So sillyness is a primary objective, at least it is for Writer/Director Ian Padfield. Sound Engineer/Special Effects Designer Jerry Padfield designates the tuneful and melodious as a special preference. Casting Director/Production Assistant Helen Moore likes chocolate and wine.
