Mac comes from a free music, performance art and poetry background. He has worked as a solo performance artist, and creative collaborator with several experimental artist groups. Semi-ambulant during the 80’s, HereNorThere during the 90’s, and early millenium. Caravanserai over the last ten years, and continues to work on the creative residency center Blauhaus with his long term partner Dr. A. Lovejoy. Mac has lived in the South West of Britain since 1985 and moved to Falmouth in 2007. During the last two years he has worked and composed with Cellist Oak Matthias in the O+M group. You can catch ‘Mac’s Piano Lounge’ every third Thursday of the month at La Cave Wine Bar in Falmouth, Cornwall. He also coordinates The Poetry Point and The Spoken Word Marquee – part of Falmouth’s Parklive Summer Festival series – to promote the work of other artists.

I've produced some content for it (Source) during the lockdown, and I train students to make radio and help them get involved in Source FM, one of my PhD researchers uses it for his work too. It's done a lot: broadcast live performances of a local poetry group I belong to (Falmouth Poetry Group), broadcast radio dramas created by my students, interviewed local politicians (including me) on subjects of local interest and thus contributed to engagement in local democracy.Tom S, Falmouth
