Steve presents Punky Reggae Party.
Steve was living in the Bristol area at the time punk hit Britain and soon became a big fan. He was lucky enough to see a lot of the major bands of the time, and he will be talking about his experiences of the time in edgy, late seventies Britain; the punks, the dreads, his mates: all will be revealed…
This is the way Steve saw it, not from any history books – most of the stuff you’ll hear will be from the original vinyl of the period. Hey-ho lets go!

I just discovered your wonderful station! Wow love it....from Barbara Hepworth to the Buzzcocks! Very cool indeed. I grew up as a kid in Cornwall (St. Day and Grampound) in the 60's my family emigrated to California in 1967. My love for anything brewed in Cornwall is strong! I have spent the last 40 years as a Graphic Designer for TV and Print here in Los Angeles, I was also an online DJ for a local station here. So happy to have discovered Source!James
I don't know how I found you, but I'm so happy I did. I listen to 96.1 online constantly. Love the variety of music and all the presenters. I'm in Eureka California and have been able to visit Cornwall once. I left my heart there and want desparately to return. Until then, at least I can listen in. Cheers!Susan
The music selections are fun, interesting and most important she makes it rock! Love Val's brash, fun, whimsical off the cuff commentaries. keep it coming! Two music fans from California. Big thank you to SourceFM :)Yyvette, California
