Jane Harvey's Musical Selection
I was born in London but moved to Cornwall in 1992 after training and working as a nurse for most of my career. I loved Cornwall from the moment I set foot here and still love living near Falmouth. I had a very serious car accident in 1998 when I was working at Treliske and this stopped me working as a hands-on nurse although I continued as a Nurse Adviser for NHS Direct and the GP Out-of-Hours service in Truro. I got involved with community radio through volunteering for MIND and heard that a new show discussing mental health issues was to be aired (A Space to Speak Your Mind).
Songs in the Key of Life features my diverse musical taste – everything from Drum and Bass to Soul!
Brilliant Station, Chargrilled, Making Paper Boats, Miscellaneous Debris and Konquerinz Soundz my absolute nevermiss shows. The whole station is unique and never dull. So lucky to be able to tune in, shame the station drops around Helston way on a drive out on a Sunday we always shout nooooo !!! Have pulled into laybys to hear the end of some tunes !! Keep up the good work.Andrea
I can only say how much pleasure Source FM has given us over the years! What an amazing radio station! Unbelievably and consistently excellent! Well done and thank you, Best wishes, JeremyJeremy
I just discovered your wonderful station! Wow love it....from Barbara Hepworth to the Buzzcocks! Very cool indeed. I grew up as a kid in Cornwall (St. Day and Grampound) in the 60's my family emigrated to California in 1967. My love for anything brewed in Cornwall is strong! I have spent the last 40 years as a Graphic Designer for TV and Print here in Los Angeles, I was also an online DJ for a local station here. So happy to have discovered Source!James
