Carols For Christmas
This year, Carols for Christmas welcomed ten primary schools across two sold-out evenings at the Princess Pavilion, Falmouth. Wednesday featured Constantine, Falmouth, Marlborough, Mawnan Smith and Mylor Bridge schools, with the Mayor of Falmouth in attendance. Thursday saw Devoran, Flushing, King Charles, Penryn and Perran-ar-Worthal schools perform, attended by the Mayor of Penryn.
The children took part in an afternoon masterclass led by Dr Gareth Churcher, supported by Andy Hatherleigh, culminating in powerful ensemble performances. With professional sound and lighting by Carey Davis, the concerts delivered a truly inspiring experience.
Now in its fifth year, Carols for Christmas has become one of Source FM’s most meaningful community projects - celebrating young talent, connecting schools and towns, and ensuring village schools remain at the heart of Falmouth’s cultural life.
